New Hope Mission Church
We are one of the three independent local congregations of the New Hope Churches denomination. NHMC has a Pentecostal-Charismatic background.
NHMC's Vision
NHMC aspires to be a center for education and mission work in God’s kingdom, as well as a prophetic church community.
Mission and Strategies
The Kingdom of God Training Centre
NHMC focuses on teaching the Word of God, the exercise of spiritual gifts and grace—that is, discipling those who have come to faith—and prayer. Teaching the Bible under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit strengthens and nurtures believers in their knowledge of Jesus Christ and in the Christian life, grounded in the identity of the new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). NHMC recognises all five offices, whose shared mission is to bring believers to maturity in Christ (Eph. 4:11–16). In addition to NHMC’s own teachers, we collaborate with teachers from other churches.
The Kingdom of God Mission Centre
NHMC spreads the Gospel of the Kingdom of God near and far—“from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.” We want to go ourselves, send others, and support mission work in existing locations through both financial contributions and prayer. For the time being, the main focus of our mission work is on the Baltic countries. We also support mission work carried out by others, for example, in Papua New Guinea. Our church’s mission work is known as New Hope Missions (NHM).
The Kingdom of God Prayer Centre
We want to advance God’s kingdom through all kinds of prayers (Eph 6:18) and intercessions on behalf of those in authority and all people (1 Tim 2:1–4). As a training center, we want to guide people to pray from their true identity and spiritual standing (Eph 2:6).
Prophetic Community
At NHMC, we want to hear God’s voice in this day and age and teach others how to hear God’s voice. Put simply, prophecy is a revelation from God to a person—whether to the person themselves, regarding a specific situation, or to another person—all for the purpose of edification, encouragement, or comfort, which God gives through the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 14:3). It means that we hear God’s voice guiding us and showing us the way in our own lives.
We acknowledge the power of God and the authority of the Holy Spirit in our church. As a training center, NHMC seeks to guide the use of the Holy Spirit’s gifts and grace so that the Word of God may be confirmed, in accordance with Scripture, through the accompanying signs.
NHMC organizes events where you are welcome to come and encounter God together. You can find more detailed information about these events on the homepage.
