In early hours of the morning, I was wanting to hear what was on God’s heart and my mind kept racing with heaviness of different areas from the last few weeks. After awhile of wrestling with those thoughts, the Lord said “what do you hear?”. “Well I hear one clock ticking in my home, I hear some cars in the distance, I hear some white noise”. The Lord restated, “What do your spiritual ears hear?”. “Well Lord, all I hear is a song playing on repeat, which goes ’Hallelujah, Hallelujah, death where is your sting’”. The Lord then said, “sing this in which you hear, and keep singing it, I will show you more”. As I started singing it, I felt a little awkward, okay, yes Lord I will continue. Then all of a sudden a strength and a boldness came in the Spirit, I am to sing this over all the situations at hand. Christ is all victorious and death has no sting! Then as I kept singing it, the Lord reminded me of my position which is one of victory in Him, that He has given songs of victory, songs of deliverance over situations. The Lord has good plans filled with hope and victory over people and situations.
It’s time to reposition ourselves to be standing in a place of victory, our minds set on Christ and His resurrection! He has won the battle! He has conquered the grave and every lie that comes against us! Why do we let the heaviness come upon us when we have already won the battle in Christ Jesus? Now is the time like never before where we NEED to focus on Jesus and stand in the victory He has already accomplished!
