The Lord showed me a glimpse in the Spirit what it means to be a daughter of the Most High King. I will try to describe it. I saw Jesus as the King of Kings with an overwhelming purity and beautiful awe around Him. I felt in my spirit the delight of being His daughter and I saw His call for surrender to a life given for His glory. This glimpse of seeing Jesus as royal King brought me to a place of surrender and humility but also a deep desire to do that in which He calls me to do. With that being said, I saw and knew that He being as King has appointed and anointed us as His children to do what He has called us to. Liken to ambassadors, I saw this high calling to move into the calling He has for us. He doesn’t call us orphans, He hasn’t forsaken us, He hasn’t given us small callings, but He has called us to a great mission, full of life and full of Him and seeing His glory.

I believe that when the Lord shows us in the Spirit of who He is and how He sees us, it brings transformation to our lives. We need to choose to ask and allow the Lord to bring the transformation daily so that we become more like Him. The Lord desires to show us more of who He is and through that give us understanding who we are in Him.

Honestly, we cannot know who we are in ourselves, it is only by seeing Christ that we understand who we are. This is a good example why we should not look at ourselves in situations because that does not help anything. We need to look to Christ, He is the One who transforms us.

If I ride my bicycle and stare at the tires it will not help me for very long, I might hit into someone and I cannot see where I am going. But if I look ahead I can see clearly where I am going and what is ahead. In the same way, we cannot look at ourselves but we need to look ahead and fix our eyes on Jesus. He is the all knowing One, the beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega. Jesus knows what will happen, therefore we can fully trust Him and know He will transform us into His image.

Thank you Lord, you want to show and reveal more of who you are in the Spirit to us. Thank you open our eyes of our hearts to see you. Thank you it is in you that we see who we are. Lord, lead us to surrender ourselves to you, so that you can transform our lives from strength to strength, glory to glory. Amen.

Hebrews 12:2 says ‘Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.’ (NIV).
